© LUMINESCENT COMPUTER ANALYZER (LCA)

LCA is intended for the use in the following fields: biophysics, biochemestry, bioproduction ngineering, genetic engineering, environmental monitoring, genetics, seletion, seed growing, agriculture.

Examination of slowed - cown florescence (SDF) with the help of LCA is an exppressive methoc of obtaining valuable in formation about functional conciiition of analyzec objectts photosynthetetuc apparatus, their reactivity, reparation and potentionality.

SDF of photosynthetic apparatus is the result of photostimulation of chlorophyll - protein complex and it charcterizes membraine systems electrochemical activity of analyzed objects.

LCA enables:

Interactive modes of the computer program for LCA:
  1. Fast iduction of SDF/FL.
  2. Luminous dependence of SDF/FL.
  3. Temperature dependen of SDF/FL.
  4. Spectroscope for FL ranging from 400 to 800 nm., step 10.
The computer program for LCA provides with:

Basic technical characteristics of LCA:

sensitivity to stream of quantum output10-5 - 10-6
number of analyzed samples in test box24
stimuiation of SDF/FL (nm)250 - 600
registration of SDF/FL (nm)500 - 1000
stimulation/registion time of SDF/FL (ms)0.7/10
induction registration of SDF/FL (min)4 - 20
SDF/FL registration of luminous stimulation reduction reduction %15 - 90
samples temperature is ranged between, 0C-10 - +60

LCA incorporates single-crystal microcontroller AT89C51 and is supported by a Pentium or a Notebook computer.

The computer program for LCA represents a package of independent utilities organized on a pull-down menu basis, where every item implements certain approach to conducting the experiment. There is no need for personnel to have programming skills in order to use this program and operate LCA.

Unfortunately, the LCA can not be produced at industrial scale yet. You can request an individually manufactured instrument at Spectrocom (St. Petersburg), where it will be made under the author's supervision.
